Work at a company where much value is placed on career growth, with a wide range of opportunities to match your knowledge, skills and interests.•Underwriting loans from pre-approval to final approval.•Reviewing approval conditions for accuracy and structure loans according to policy requirements and credit quality.•Assisting with training all new processors and loan officers regarding underwriting guidelines.•Answering scenario phone calls from the loan officers.•Maintaining contact with the Product Development team and investor changes to underwriting guidelines; informing staff when guidelines change.•Assisting with resolving post closing issues and quality control audits.•Other duties as assigned
Job RequirementsREQUIRED: DE OR LAPP CERTIFICATION•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multi-task is required.•Must be team-oriented and be able to take a hands-on approach to learning the job.•Strong credit and analytical skills are necessary.•High school diploma or the equivalent (GED).•A minimum of 5 years first mortgage underwriting experience or experience as a certified processor with delegated underwriting authority is required.•DE and or LAPP certification REQUIRED Special Instructions to begin the process: 'Please email your resume to Volt at: [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] and it will be expedited to the Recruiter assigned to this position.
