Job Description Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems is seeking a VMware Engineer for their government client in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have a Secret Clearance, Security+ certification and 3-5 years experience with VMware View 5. The client is looking for documented experience with Windows 7 & MicroSoft Server OS. Duties: - Troubleshoots connectivity and availability issues for users (remotely) while adhering to established procedures while demonstrating strong knowledge of Windows 7 and Microsoft Server OS and networking and storage technologies. - Monitors system to ensure optimal performance, configure and maintain VShield components, evaluates, tests, installs and integrates various applications and 3rd party products into the virtual desktop architecture to improve the user experience. - The Engineer has overall responsibility for the design, configuration, maintenance and daily support of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.
