As Manager, Supply Chain Analytics, your essential job functions will include the following:
Operations and Planning
Create and manage logistics, transportation and supply chain metrics reporting and analytics to drive action within the supply chain team and enable execution in all areas.
Manage the design, support & maintenance of reporting, analytic tools and dashboards related to operational, transportation and logistics specific metrics.
Manage overall network planning/analysis functions and optimization strategies to maximize service and minimize cost, including building scalable models and processes to support these areas.
Perform ad hoc business analysis as requested.
Design, develop and manage all processes required to adequately monitor results, activity, and report results for logistics and transportation.
Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including cross-functional project management, data gathering and manipulation, analysis and modeling and communication of insights and recommendations to Supply Chain management.
Monitor progress on projects across the team ensuring deadlines are met and data output is accurate and appropriate for the business - lead coordination for the most critical projects.
Collaborate with IT on data and BI requirements to meet supply chain needs.
Collaborate with Logistics, Transportation, Inventory Management, Sales & Program Management to plan and ensure execution of initiatives that impact supply chain.
Leadership, Mentoring, & Coaching
Communicate expectations/strategic vision to team members.
Direct team members’ to support priorities within the Supply Chain Analytics team.
Motivate, coach, train, counsel and provide career development for each team member.
Monitor performance, conduct annual performance evaluation of each team member and recommend appropriate action such as compensation changes, promotions, counseling and termination.
Determine staffing needs, interview potential candidates, and make recommendations on individual hires.
Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar analytical field is required.
Minimum 8 years’ work experience in an analytical role within Supply Chain or other business area.
MS Office – Excel/Word/Access/Power Point proficiency required at advanced skill level.
Programming language knowledge and experience preferred – SQL, VBA, etc.
Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to speak at all levels of the organization.
Effective project management experience with proven results required.
Detail oriented, problem solver and able to multi-task.
Works with a sense of urgency and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Adaptable, resourceful and has creative problem-solving skills.
