Job Description

The Area Plant Supervisor for the Omaha region of Centurylink serving area will manage the following responsibilities:

  • Ensures high level of customer service satisfaction is provided to all consumer, access and business segment customers
  • Oversees and directs daily operations for POTS, DSL, and Prism installation and repair, as well as cable maintenance in both fiber and copper environments.
  • Supervises 16 + technicians (union employees). Responsible for managing employee performance through coaching and guidance, assignments & work load, training, and team dynamics.
  • Exhibits leadership skills to engage and motivate the workforce, and demonstrates initiative and analytical ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Performing quality and productivity reviews, and serving as point of contact for customer complaints.
  • Manages monthly departmental budget and expense guidelines
  • All other duties as assigned.
