Job Description THIS POSITION IS SPLIT BETWEEN TWO (2) FACILITIES, POTOSI CORRECTIONAL CENTER IN MINERAL POINT, MO AND SOUTHEAST CORRECTIONAL CENTER IN CHARLESTON, MO. THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK, WORKING 20 HOURS AT EACH FACILITY.

The Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services as assigned in a correctional setting. Provides psychological support and services for the multidisciplinary mental health team. Assesses mental and emotional disorders of inmates through observation, interviews and psychological tests when requested. Completes psychological evaluations as requested.

Job RequirementsPh.D. or Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology preferred
Must have active Missouri Psychologist license
Two (2) years experience in providing comprehensive psychological services, preferably in a correctional environment
