Job Description Join a team of HR Professionals in a fast paced environment supporting the HRIS process for worldwide offices of this large Multimedia eCommerce Company in downtown Seattle.

Volt's Client is in need an a HR Specialist who will assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR Department and carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas:

  • Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Employee Relations
  • ComplianceJob Responsibilities:Manage workflow, data entry and filing for all staff transactions:
  • Is responsible for data entry of all employee (and contractor) information (e.g. new hire paperwork, status change information, name change, etc.)
  • Prepares and processes status change forms; and works closely with all office locations regarding changes in employee status.
  • Manages employee files, including I-9 information.
  • Acts as the workflow liaison for all HR transactions via ESS & MSS.Testing and Auditing:
  • Prepares test plans and assists in the system testing and quality assurance process for software patches, system upgrades, application enhancements and new software/hardware implementations.
  • Audits data in the HRIS on a regular basis to ensure data is up to date and error free.Reporting and System Administration:
  • Creates and modifies reports/queries to support HR reporting needs.
  • Acts as System Administrator for the Applicant Tracking System - ATS (Virtual Edge).
  • This is an estimated 1 year contingent/temporary position in Seattle, WA and offered through Volt Workforce Solutions which is located in Redmond, Washington.     Job Requirements

    HR Specialist Qualifications:

      2 Years of Work Related Experience in the Following:
      • Demonstrated understanding of HR processes as it relates to HRIS in a corporate environment with international locations.
      • Strong analytical and quantitative, organizational and multi-tasking skills in a challenging, fast-paced, results oriented environment.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to work well under short deadlines.
      • Proficient with MS Office products to include Word, Excel and Access.
      Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Computer Science or related discipline.
      • Oracle Database Developer Certification.
