Division:   CHRISTUS Spohn Health Region Work Schedule:   AS NEEDED Average Hours per Week:   4 (0.1 FTE) Travel Involved:   Job Type:   PRN/Per Diem Relocation package offered:   Category:   Clinical Support Services Under the supervision of the RN, admits patients to centralized telemetry cardiac monitoring, and continuously watches and records changes in rhythm. Maintains records of all activities for shift. Performs 12 lead ECG. On-going communication with physicians and patient care providers. Responsible for reporting equipment maintenance. Cleans equipment. Responsible for ordering supplies. Completion of orientation process and is familiar with Policy and Procedures. Utilizes skills and knowledge base effectively as well as good computer skills.   • Job RequirementsEducation: High School degree or equivalent. Basic ECG course required (can be obtained first week of employment). BLS/CPR certified. ECG Certification preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One year of Monitor Tech experience preferred. Possess excellent communication skills. Proficient in computer skills. Medical terminology preferred. Complete Monitor Tech orientation during first week of orientation.
