Job Description This Sodexo Healthcare Sales Executive position supports Michigan, Indiana and Ohio within our Hospitals Division. Will have responsibilities for business development of long term contracts in food services and patient transport including:
  • Achieve annual sales goals and profit margins through the development and implementation of short and long-range sales strategies
  • Develop customized sales solutions based on in-depth understanding of the client's and company's perspectives and objectives to maximize performance and growth
  • Coordination of all process activities including identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, conducting site surveys, developing customized proposals, orchestrating and executing presentations, and successfully negotiating contracts. Ongoing competitive intelligence and participation in industry related organizations to network, develop and maintain an understanding of industry trends and identify best practices.
  • Please note that this is not the same as selling pharmaceuticals or other medical devices to doctors or medical offices. Must have experience working with C-suite hospital executives on a regular basis and working with complex, long term projects (6-18 months to close). Cross selling current enterprise-wide clients as well as new business development (hunter) experience is critical.
  • Position Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with long-term, complex, sales processes. Experience researching, analyzing and uncovering client objectives and relevant information. Ability to analyze financial data, develop financial model and create win/win solutions
  • Coordinates Powerful Prospecting initiatives utilizing Business Development Representative
  • This person will be responsible for developing Sodexo's Web of Influence including C-Suite individuals at regional health systems within the geography
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and personal drive to meet and exceed objectives
  • Time management skills including the ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously. Effective written and verbal communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants, vendors, and others
  • Prefer: 3 - 5 years previous Healthcare experience selling long term, high dollar contracts
  • Position requires 80% travel throughout this territory. Candidate must reside in territory
  • This is a home office based position. No relocation is available.
  • Responsible for the development of new and potential accounts within the assigned geographic area. Develops and implements short- and long-range sales strategies. Develops, implements and achieves targeted new sales goals by orchestration of the sales process including prospect identification, prospect qualification, organization survey and execution, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation.
