Job Description UTC Climate, Controls & Security is the leading provider of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, building controls and automation, and fire and security solutions. AREA OF EXPERTISE: This position is responsible for defining the purpose, vision, and business plan for the eBusiness team. The position is accountable for managing day-to-day activities associated with the Residential and Light Commercial digital branded platforms (consumer sites, channel portal, mobile platform, social media, etc.).GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for all eBusiness functions including consumer and channel extranet web sites, search engine marketing, content and document management, partner relationship management software, web analytics tools, and e-mail marketing campaigns- Work collaboratively with other departments and business units in sales, marketing, and IT to develop and manage the eBusiness multigenerational product roadmap- Manage key web initiatives for the residential business- Manage web development projects from a marketing perspective- Serve in a consultative role for marketing technology initiatives that do not directly involve the eBusiness team- Manage team of employees and contractors of the eBusiness team- Provide ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness, cost, and scalability of all eBusiness platforms- Work with eBusiness team to troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and propose changes that will prevent issues in the future- Manage and report on site web analytics- Promote web sites at company and industry trade shows- Manage vendor relationships with marketing partners and work with IT to assist in their vendor management as it relates to eBusiness activitiesLEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: - Leads a project team or multiple smaller project teams or leads a functional team or unit in area of expertise- Prepares, monitors, and may be responsible for budget, staffing, and or business/operational results of a functional team or project- Directly manages individual contributors and may manage supervisors or group leaders

Job RequirementsTYPICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - BA/BS degree with 6-10+ years' experience - MA/BMS degree with 4-7+ years' experience - PhD degree with 2-4+ years' experienceQUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, management information systems or related experience, MBA preferred- 8-10 years web application experience- 8-10 years project management experience, PMI certification preferred- 3-5 years team management experience in a matrixed environment- 3-5 years web analytics experience- 2-3 years mobile and/or social media experience preferred- Ability to work independently and self motivated- Strong analytical skills required- Progressive, successful career history with a multi-faceted background needed to effectively implement eBusiness solutions- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)- Understanding of HTML and SQL preferred- Expert in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:The incumbent in this role will be responsible for complying with UTC's Code of Ethics, Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policy and applicable regulatory and Company rules and requirements.
