Job Description HEALTHCARE Terry Reilly Health Services Lead Pharmacy Technician - Nampa Full-Time The Lead Pharmacy Technician provides training and oversight of pharmacy tech duties. The Lead Tech fills prescriptions, monitors stock, works to resolve quality, safety and customer satisfaction and handles routine administrative tasks. Lead Responsibilities: 1. Provide training to new pharmacy staff and cross-training to existing pharmacy staff in all areas relevant to pharmacy technicians and provides progress updates to pharmacy manager. 2. Participate in orienting new clinicians to pharmacy staff and procedures. 3. Obtains, interprets and communicates new information from message boards and other sources to staff in timely, consistent and uniform manner. 4. Assists Pharmacy Director in establishing and supporting training to maintain compliance, enhance employee development and achieve efficiencies in work flow, inventory and achieve target corporate production and customer service goals. 5. Assists in identifying issues effecting customer service, efficiencies and related areas and work to provide solutions. Minimum Qualifications: 1. State of Idaho Pharmacy Technician license. 2. Proficient computer skills. 3. Able to read, write and communicate clearly. 4. Good customer service skills. 5. Ability to work well with the public. 6. Ability to work with frequent interruptions. 7. Keen organizational and problem solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Three or more years of pharmacy experience. 2. Knowledge of prescription drug programs. 3. Electronic medical record experience. 4. Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) Source - Idaho Statesman
